As Cybersecurity Counsel you will serve as trusted legal advisor to Apples security engineering and architecture teams providing guidance on cybersecurity related aspects of Apples hardware software and services. This role will report through the Privacy Legal team and will offer the opportunity to work directly with key members of the cybersecurity business engineering and legal teams on a variety of cutting-edge projects.

Serving as primary legal advisor to cybersecurity teams protecting Apples hardware software and servicesnAdvising Apples threat intelligence teams including on analysis and sharing of threat datanTracking and analyzing evolving global cybersecurity regulations and standards and working with regulatory and product legal teams to advise the business on compliance obligationsnPartnering with policy teams to evaluate shape and respond to proposed cybersecurity legislation regulatory guidance and industry standards that affect Apples hardware productsnSupporting the development implementation and maintenance of internal cybersecurity policies governance frameworks and compliance programsnResponding to cybersecurity and privacy incidents

4 years of experience (either at a law firm government agency non-governmental organization and/or in-house) in cybersecurity or privacy lawnDeep knowledge of cybersecurity laws and regulatory and other guidance and standardsnJD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar

Experience advising on cybersecurity issues related to hardware software and servicesnExperience with best practices related to threat intelligence and cybersecurity related investigations nAble to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communicationsnAbility to lead take action and provide direction in the face of ambiguitynExperience quickly issue-spotting analyzing and clearly communicating legal advice on complex issuesnAbility to get results in diverse fast paced environmentsnAbility to multi-task across diverse business units and geographical boundariesnStrong analytical capability with attention to detailnAbility to partner at all levels of the organization
