Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity

• Design implement and maintain security controls to protect systems networks and data
• Monitor security tools (SIEM EDR vulnerability scanners) and respond to alerts/incidents
• Conduct vulnerability assessments risk analyses and remediation planning
• Manage endpoint and network security including firewalls IDS/IPS and access controls
• Lead incident response efforts and support post-incident analysis and reporting

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with standards such as NIST ISO 27001 SOC 2 CMMC or similar frameworks
• Develop maintain and enforce IT security policies procedures and documentation
• Support internal and external audits including evidence collection and remediation tracking
• Perform third-party risk assessments and vendor security reviews
• Maintain risk register and track mitigation activities

Security Awareness & Training

• Promote a culture of security through awareness training and best practices
• Educate employees on cybersecurity risks phishing prevention and compliance requirements

Collaboration & Improvement

• Partner with IT engineering and operations teams to embed security into systems and processes
• Stay current on emerging threats technologies and regulatory changes
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements to the organizations security posture
