Cybersecurity Engineer

Role Overview

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the deployment administration and optimization of enterprise security technologies across endpoint network cloud identity and security operations environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy configure and maintain enterprise security tools and platforms.
• Support vulnerability management security assessments and remediation activities.
• Configure security policies dashboards alerts and reporting.
• Support cloud endpoint network and identity security technologies.
• Assist with security tool integrations automation and platform upgrades.
• Develop operational procedures and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity Security Engineering Vulnerability Management or Security Operations.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:

• Endpoint Security / EDR/XDR: Microsoft Defender CrowdStrike SentinelOne Cortex XDR
• Vulnerability Management: Tenable Nessus Qualys Rapid7
• SIEM / SOAR: Microsoft Sentinel Splunk QRadar XSOAR
• Network Security: Firewalls IDS/IPS WAF Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
• Identity Security: Entra ID (Azure AD) Okta MFA PAM RBAC
• Cloud Security: Azure AWS GCP
• Automation: PowerShell Python APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with security tool implementation and integration.
• Familiarity with cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Exposure to AI-enabled security tools such as Microsoft Security Copilot.
• Understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
