A premier global law firm is seeking a Cyber Data Privacy & Regulatory Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing leading technology companies and other sophisticated clients in cutting-edge privacy litigation cybersecurity matters and regulatory investigations.

46 years of privacy cybersecurity consumer protection or complex litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

Experience representing clients in privacy and data security litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations

Experience handling investigations involving the FTC State Attorneys General and other federal or state regulatory agencies

Experience defending data privacy and cybersecurity class actions including matters involving data breaches wiretapping claims consumer protection statutes and unfair or deceptive trade practices

Experience advising clients regarding privacy laws cybersecurity incidents regulatory compliance and risk management

General technology fluency and an interest in emerging privacy and cybersecurity issues

Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters while maintaining significant client interaction

Exceptional legal research writing analytical and communication skills

Excellent academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Chambers-recognized Cyber Data Privacy & Regulatory practice

Exposure to cutting-edge privacy litigation and regulatory investigations

Representation of leading technology and innovative companies
