Job Summary
The Role
As a Cyber Broker within Willis FINEX practice you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and be the primary liaison between clients and insurance markets. You will be responsible for designing marketing and placing complex cyber insurance programs while delivering strategic advice on cyber risk transfer solutions.
The successful candidate will leverage deep knowledge of cyber insurance products market dynamics and emerging cyber threats to help clients secure optimal coverage and achieve their risk management objectives. This role requires strong technical expertise exceptional relationship management skills and a passion for delivering innovative solutions in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on cyber insurance and related financial lines risks.
- Lead client discussions regarding exposure analysis market conditions and renewal strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while supporting new business opportunities.
- Deliver exceptional client service through proactive communication and consultative guidance.
Insurance Placement & Market Negotiation
- Design market and place cyber insurance programs across a broad range of industries.
- Negotiate competitive coverage terms conditions and pricing with insurance carriers.
- Review insurance policies and provide detailed coverage analyses and recommendations.
- Structure complex and customized insurance solutions to address unique client needs.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of carrier appetites evolving exposure and market trends and emerging products.
Business Development
- Support growth objectives through client retention cross-selling and new business development.
- Contribute to RFP responses prospect presentations and sales initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and deepen client relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues across industry verticals and specialty practices to deliver integrated solutions.
Market Leadership & Collaboration
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers and key market stakeholders.
- Provide technical cyber insurance expertise to colleagues and clients.
- Monitor evolving cyber threats regulatory developments and insurance market trends.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives industry events webinars and market-facing content.
- Mentor and support junior team members as appropriate.
Qualifications
The Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in cyber insurance broking underwriting or related financial lines disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of cyber insurance products coverage forms policy language and market practices.
- Demonstrated experience placing cyber insurance programs negotiating directly with insurers and participating in new business RFPs.
- Excellent communication presentation and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Property & Casualty Insurance License or ability to obtain one upon hire.
Preferred
- Experience working with both middle market and large account clients.
- Established relationships within the global cyber insurance marketplace.
- Professional designations such as CPCU ARM or RPLU.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors including but not limited to location of the role individual competencies education/professional certifications qualifications/experience performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $90000 $125000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
