Primary Responsibilities and Skills:
- Ensure information is communicated between shifts
- Ensure Company Safety Quality and Production standards are met
- Maintenance duties include stooping under machinery entering confined spaces and climbing ladders.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
- Ability to interpret and translate designs and documentation.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot adjust and debug to finalize majority of machine lines required in house or at the customers facility.
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of technical written (and verbal)
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Visual color discrimination the ability to match or detect differences between colors including shades of colors.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Good attendance
- Strong leadership abilities
BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:
- Manufacturing experience preferred
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma preferred technical school education or equivalent.
- Heavy mechanical/operator level skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Two years of related manufacturing focus experience in a converting facility or similar type preferred.
- Must have knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic components.
- Trained knowledge in mechanical assembly standards engineering standards or other applicable procedures and parts flow.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
WORK SCHEDULE:
Frequent overtime is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting walking or standing depending on changing job assignment for extended periods.
- Awkward and/or repetitive movements.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment.
- Work in areas of fluctuating temperature.
- Flexibility to work any shift and overtime if business needs require it.

While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is regularly exposed to dust fumes heat cold vibration toxic conditions and potential work hazards.
Personal Protective Equipment (hearing protection safety glasses safety shoes gloves) is required. Other PPE may be required for specific tasks
