About the role
As a Customs Entry Writer you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers imports move smoothly compliantly and on time. You will manage end-to-end customs brokerage operations for a dedicated portfolio of accounts partnering closely with customers carriers government agencies and internal teams. This role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented organized and motivated to build expertise in customs brokerage while contributing directly to service delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers providing timely updates and resolving shipment inquiries
Prepare and submit U.S. Customs entries and Partner Government Agency (PGA) filings in compliance with applicable regulations
Manage entry files in line with defined KPIs service standards and documentation requirements
Coordinate shipment clearance with freight forwarders carriers airlines and CFS facilities to ensure timely release
Track and trace inbound shipments from arrival through final delivery proactively addressing delays or risks
Maintain accurate documentation and upload complete entry packages into internal systems
Support billing processes delivery orders and operational reporting requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure coverage knowledge sharing and support during peak volumes.
What We Are Looking For:
Operational accuracy & compliance focus: we are looking for someone who is highly detail-oriented committed to accuracy and proactive in ensuring all customs processes and documentation meet regulatory and company standards
612 months of experience in customs brokerage logistics or a related operational role (2 years preferred in CHB or similar environments)
Solid understanding of import processes documentation and regulatory compliance requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders
High attention to detail strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience; Customs Broker License is an advantage but not required

$56000 - $60000*
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
