Job Summary

Buckland is looking for a Customs Compliance Specialist Client OnsiteWhat youll be doingThis position is responsible for assisting with compliance projects for major clients. Reporting to the Manager Compliance and Consulting or their designee and dotted line reporting to the Clients Customs Manager this individual will provide logistical support and oversight over service providers for the customer. Participate in meetings and work together as a team to complete projectsCreate reports assist in drafting compliance processes and work instructionsGood written and verbal communication your skills with Microsoft utilizing programs such as Excel Word Teams and your meticulous attention to detail by ensuring accuracy and decision by results working in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a well-organized calendar to balance meetings tasks and future initiatives. Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and we need from youBachelors Degree in Business or International Business or similar disciplineBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred (for southern border only).U.S. Customs Broker License or CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) preferredMinimum 1 year of customer service experience of HTS classification Principles and determining ECCN export classification codes is an asset. Intermediate typing Office experience including Excel Word PowerPoint and problem solving and decision-making verbal and written communication be legally eligible to work for the Company at all Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in CAD/USA/MEX.
