As our Customs Brokeryoullhelp manageall aspects of customs clearance from beginning to endto support our mission of delivering reliablelogisticssolutionsand connecting communitiesacross the is asafety sensitive Range:$35$45 per hourWhatyoullbe doing:Ensure compliance with record-keeping regulations under 19 CFR 163 and company and declare entries using the correct HTSUS codes including those associated with trade remedies and AD/CVD professionally with clients U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Partner Government Agencies (PGAs)regardingentry advice including duty rates trade remedies and exemption transportation of imported goods from the port of entry to theirfinal destinationwith Lynden operations reports from customs applications and invoices for payment and ensure clients pay Lyndens invoices in a timely you can look forward to:Discretionary Bonus Program Additional bonuses paid out depending on job and company dental and visionplans with employee contributions as low as $5 for you and your Time Off17 days paid time off PTO days increase with years of 6 paid holidaysand 2 floating Plan401K with up to 50% of the first 6% contributed Reimbursement Program Up to 50% of educational expenses reimbursed after 1 year of Insurance Health and Wellness Program Accidental Death & Dismemberment InsuranceTransit Reimbursement ProgramLong Term Disability Coverage and Employee Assistance Program at no cost to you!To succeed in this roleyoullneed these skills:Strong knowledge of U.S. import regulations customs clearance procedures and HTSUS with freight management written and verbal communication analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to make independent to managetime-sensitivepriorities and workacross with Microsoft Teams Word Excel and other Windows-based these qualifications:Must hold a current U.S. Customs Broker License(LCB)High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience in U.S. importing functions; a related four-year degree may substitute for aportionof the experience topossessand maintain a TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA).Ability to sit for extended periods and perform standard office-based credit if you have:Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Master Customs Specialist (MCS) or finance background with experience reviewing invoices billing and financial experience including mentoring training or leading personally review all candidates and promise to respond to all applications within 5 buisness days of nowand help uskeep the world moving!
