Customer ServiceOrder Entry (Manufacturing)

Ampco Pumps is a fast-growing manufacturer of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps used in the food and dairy industries desalination and various chemical and industrial applications. We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our growing team! The Customer Service Representative is a self-motivated individual whose primary responsibility is to assist internal staff and customers by processing orders compiling quotations and handling customer service-related inquiries.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Utilize product knowledge to solve customers needs.
• Guide and process customer orders and inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers via phone and email.
• Solve customer problems and find the best possible solutions.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products pricing and availability.
• Respond to shipping inquiries and answer order status questions in a timely manner.
• Data entry including preparing quotes and entering orders into the ERP.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent oral interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong follow-up and organization skills with attention to detail.
• Team oriented with the ability to effectively interact with co-workers internal and external customers.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of manufacturing customer service experience required.
• Experience working in manufacturing preferred.
