• Set up and break down the pool deck area before and after each shift
• Check water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons
• Welcome students and parents/guardians and assist with check-in procedures
• Answer customer questions regarding accounts student progress and program information
• Provide support to swim instructors and management during lessons as needed
• Maintain a professional organized and family-friendly pool deck environment

• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills
• Evening or weekend availability (Monday-Thursday 3:00-7:00PM and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM 1:00 PM)
• Professional responsible and positive attitude
• Reliable punctual and trustworthy

• 1 year of customer service experience
• Lifeguarding First Aid CPR and/or AED certifications are a plus

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
