The Alternate Program Manager is our on-site lead at the Fort Bragg ID card office the person who runs the floor day to day works hand-in-glove with the off-site Program Manager and steps into any Site Security Manager (SSM) or Verifying Official (VO) seat when coverage calls for it. This is a leadership role for someone who wants to run the operation and motivate the team not just work in it.
What Youll Do
- Run the floor and make real-time decisions during operating hours; keep each station manned to standard.
- Back up the SSM and VO roles certified and cross-trained to fill any seat holding coverage without overtime.
- Support the Program Manager on reporting quality control and on-site coordination.
- Manage schedules leave and co-work coverage so the operation holds through planned and unplanned absences.
- Reinforce card stock accountability and DEERS/RAPIDS discipline alongside the SSMs.
Who You Are
- A hands-on leader who has run or supervised a credentialing or customer-service operation.
- Willing to certify and cross-train across SSM and VO duties you lead by doing.
Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of Common Access Card (CAC) and USID card functions.
- Able to obtain RAPIDS Verifying Official and Site Security Manager certifications.
- Able to obtain a CAC.
- Favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) by your start date -we will help you through the process.
- Fluent in English.
