ZED Electric has proudly served the San Diego community since 1995. We are a fast-growing electrical service company specializing in residential and commercial service work including panel upgrades troubleshooting insurance-driven projects and HOA electrical services.

We are looking for a Customer Service Associate (CSR) to serve as the first point of contact for our customers and provide essential support to our office and operations team.

This role is responsible for handling inbound customer calls scheduling service appointments following up with customers and supporting daily office operations. The CSR works closely with the Operations Manager and office team to help ensure a smooth and professional customer experience.

This is a customer-facing support role focused on communication organization responsiveness and follow-through. Field operations technician routing and dispatch functions are managed by the operations team.

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Assist customers with service requests and questions
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience on every interaction

• Schedule service appointments accurately using company software
• Gather and enter complete customer information
• Coordinate with the operations team to support daily workflow

• Follow up with customers on open or unsold estimates
• Re-engage customers to schedule service
• Help convert opportunities into booked jobs

• Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices
• Communicate professionally to resolve payment issues and customer follow-through

• Maintain accurate customer records and job notes
• Assist with general office coordination and tasks as needed

• High call answer rate with minimal missed calls
• Strong booking and follow-up performance
• Consistent communication with customers
• Organized and detail-oriented work
• Positive customer feedback
• Reliable support for office and operations workflow

• 13 years in customer service call center or office role
• Strong phone communication skills
• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Tech-savvy (iPhone Google Workspace CRM/software systems)
• Experience in home services (electrical plumbing HVAC) is a plus
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus

Pay: $28/hour
