Custodian-Trash Technician

Seeking General Cleaners for logistics facility in Kenosha WI starting asap.

Overview:

• $18.00/hour Corrugate
• Composite Toe shoes/boots required

Shifts:

• Sunday-Wednesday 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM Corrugate Technician
• Sunday-Wednesday 06:30 PM - 05:00 AM Corrugate Technician
• Wednesday-Saturday 06:30 PM - 05:00 AM Corrugate Technician

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:

• Break down and recycle cardboard in the assigned area in a distribution or fulfillment center to be disposed of.
• Utilize power industrial trucks (PIT) to collect corrugate and recycling from one designated area to another within the distribution center.
• Operate baler auger and trash compactor sweep floors support cleaning team empty trash and wood bins throughout the distribution center.
• Corrugate Tech must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

• General Cleaning - Restrooms Break Rooms Conference Rooms etc. This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas (make sure to bring coat): Yard area guard shack smoke area etc.

While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Removing and Bailing Cardboard
• Moving and stacking Pallets
• Floor cleaning
• Fork truck operation

Qualifications:;

• Previous experience in a janitor custodian cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
• Frequent lifting carrying pushing or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Must have reliable transportation
