Custodian, Muncie

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Participate in all the functions to maintain the floors tile and carpet of college facility including sweeping dusting mopping scrubbing stripping waxing buffing and shampooing.
• Monitor and report items that need to be done by maintenance staff such as replace light bulbs and repair broken fixtures in classrooms and offices.
• Securing of all facilities at completion of operations.
• Clean sanitize and repair tables chairs and booths throughout the facility.
• Must have the ability to lift up to (50) pounds and physical ability to use large equipment associated with custodial work.
• Control/Management of related cleaning equipment.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and communicate well with peers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have appropriate skills in custodial services.
• Proven experience punctuality dependability and trustworthiness.
• Physically able to perform the duties of the position.
