Custodian (Lunch) Part Time

CUSTODIAN - LUNCH - PART TIME

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Custodial duties include all phases of setup/teardown of lunch tables and cleaning of tables and floors.
• Light maintenance duties and security responsibilities throughout the building.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to work effectively with staff students and parents
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and disinfecting procedures
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and follow directions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to push items of 50 pounds such as pushing equipment or moving/rearranging furniture. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision and peripheral vision.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 20 Hours/Week based on 52 week custodial calendar

SALARY: Per Custodial Handbook Salary Schedule

LOCATION: Allegan Elementary

REPORTS TO: Custodial/Maintenance Supervisor and/or Building Principal
