Summary:

Responsible for maintaining clean safe and orderly building and warehouse environments. This role involves performing a variety of heavy cleaning tasks including floor care glass cleaning equipment wipe-downs and trash removal. The position supports overall facility operations by ensuring cleanliness safety and readiness for daily business demands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate commercial floor-sweeping and scrubbing equipment to maintain clean warehouse floors.

Collect and dispose of trash and debris including the safe use of forklifts to empty dumpsters.

Follow established procedures for handling chemical cleaners and powered equipment to protect surfaces machinery and fixtures.

Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water detergents or acids according to specifications.

Clean windows glass partitions mirrors and doors using appropriate tools and cleaning solutions.

Dust and wipe down machinery equipment and high-traffic touchpoints.

Strip seal finish and polish hard floors to maintain professional appearance and safety standards.

Move and arrange furniture equipment or supplies manually or with hand trucks.

Monitor building conditions and promptly notify management of necessary repairs or maintenance needs.

Requisition supplies and equipment needed to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Valid Drivers License and be able to be covered by company insurance

1 3 years prior forklift experience.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Demonstrated commitment to safety and safe work practices.

Strong work ethic punctuality and ability to meet scheduled work hours as well as additional shifts when needed.

Positive attitude with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with vendors contractors and team members.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively contribute to team success and maintain respectful workplace interactions.

Commitment to organizational values including integrity respect and inclusivity.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to sit with occasional standing walking stair climbing reaching and handling equipment.

Frequent movement within the warehouse and around machinery.

Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Vision requirements include close vision distance vision color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
