Custodian I (PRN) Relief Staff (2nd & 3rd shift) Enterprise Physical Operations

LOUIS MO 63108 The Enterprise Physical Operations Infrastructure Capital Programs & Real Estate (EPO) department at WashU provides integrated operational infrastructure planning and facility services that support the universitys mission of excellence in education research patient care and community engagement.

EPO manages and supports 28 million gross square feet across 235 buildings and associated infrastructure systems encompassing academic research clinical residential administrative and support facilities across the universitys campuses and operations. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collects and disposes of trash and waste products by taking to appropriate compactor.
• Cleans disinfects bathrooms sanitizes telephones washes desks and cleans lunch/service areas.
• Operates mechanical floor cleaners vacuums and utilizes mop buckets wringers etc.
• Mops buffs and maintains all floors and dusts/vacuums work areas and offices.
• Washes interior and exterior windows.
• Changes lights utilizing appropriate ladders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Alternative work schedule as regular part of job (on-call shifts evenings weekends).

• Typically standing or walking.

• 3rd shift hours are typically 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. on Sunday Tuesday and Thursday or as needed.

Salary Range

$15.25 - $20.77 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including ones qualifications and performance equity with others in the department market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
