Friday Harbor Labs has an outstanding opportunity for a Custodian to join their team.
This is an in person position located in Friday Harbor WA in the San Juan Islands.
About this Opportunity
The Custodianis responsible formaintainingthe cleanliness and care of housing units dining halls lecture halls and other on-site campus facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Empty garbage cans and deposit trash in campus collection stations
Follow written and/or verbal instructionsregardingthe use of chemicalssuppliesand equipment;comply withsafety policies and procedures
Cleaning of rooms bathrooms lecture hall and meeting room spaces dining hallcommonsarea housing units office spaces lab buildings etc.
May wash interior or easily accessible exterior windows
May move furniture and supplies on an incidental basis
Report cleaning supply inventory
May support event operations with set up and breakdown
Perform other duties as assigned
