Maintenance and Custodial Services Department

Purpose:

The Custodian 3 maintains an attractive sanitary and safe facility for students staff and the public; assists with furniture arrangements for meetings classroom activities and events; and minimizes property damage loss and liability exposure. The Custodian 3 also provides specialized custodial and maintenance services in one or more of the following areas:

Custodial: Performs routine custodial tasks at District schools and sites. Assumes a leadership role and assists with the direction of work among peers who perform custodial duties. Site-specific Custodian 3s may also perform general facility maintenance and grounds upkeep.

Maintenance: Performs advanced and highly varied facilities maintenance duties at multiple District sites;
Reports to: Field Supervisor of Custodial Services or Supervisor of Maintenance Services
Indirectly reports to: Custodial Foreman Maintenance Foreman Maintenance Leader School Principal and/or Assistant Principal.
