Job Summary

Rodeo Cannabis Co. is a vertically integrated cannabis company with cultivation manufacturing and dispensary operations in Connecticut. We are hiring a Custodial Technician at our Sterling CT facility. The Custodial Technician is responsible for keeping our entire facility clean sanitized and compliant with our high standards of cleanliness including production floors offices restrooms and common areas. This is an essential role that supports the safety and quality of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout production areas offices break rooms hallways and common spaces.
• Sweep mop vacuum and care for all flooring surfaces throughout the facility.
• Clean disinfect and restock restrooms on a regular schedule throughout each shift.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles light switches and shared equipment per sanitation protocols.
• Clean windows glass partitions and other interior surfaces as needed.
• Collect sort and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with facility protocols.
• Maintain custodial supplies and equipment; report low stock or equipment issues promptly.
• Follow all cleaning SOPs and Connecticut cannabis facility cleanliness and compliance standards.
• Identify and report any facility maintenance needs safety hazards or spills immediately.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a full shift.
• Capable of repetitive bending reaching kneeling and physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean organized spaces.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures in a regulated facility.
• Dependable punctual and team-oriented work ethic.
• Must be 18 years of age or older per Connecticut cannabis regulations.
• Must successfully pass a background check as required by Connecticut cannabis industry compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior custodial janitorial or facility maintenance experience.
• Experience cleaning in a commercial industrial healthcare or regulated manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment (auto-scrubbers buffers etc.).
• Knowledge of OSHA SDS or general workplace safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage cleaning schedules efficiently.
