- Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education experience and training
- 25 years of directly relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in parametric CAD tools (NX and Rhino preferred); computational design experience (Grasshopper) is a plus
- Experience designing plastic or foam components and tooling supported by a strong portfolio of engineering work
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

You will design and develop the next generation of cushioning systems translating ideas into performance-driven manufacturable solutions. Youll use advanced modeling and engineering tools to create refine and scale systems that push innovation forward.

- Partner with designers developers and engineers to build new cushioning systems and integration methods
- Create and refine complex 3D models using parametric CAD tools to achieve performance and manufacturability goals
- Prototype test and iterate on cushioning concepts through hands-on development
- Collaborate with Air Manufacturing Innovation partners to apply component-level expertise
- Translate innovations into scalable solutions for inline product teams
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional and non-technical audiences
- Navigate multiple projects adapting quickly to shifting priorities and timelines
