We are inviting expressions of interest for an exciting new opportunity to serve as a 0.4 FTE Curriculum Coordinator commencing Term 1 2027.

New Hope Christian Schoolis a special school providing Christian Education for students with a mild to moderate level of intellectual delay or Autism in Kindergarten to Year co-educational Christian learning community is committed to developing and nurturing its Hope Christian School is located within the grounds of Pacific Hills Christian School and is a part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools with six of these schools located in regional student is unique and we aim to develop the full potential in each individual by providing a mixture of individualised and small group instruction and support. NewHope Christian School has a clear vision to honour Christ in all its programs and practices. Reporting to the Principal and working closely with the Group Director of Curriculum Policy and Teacher Accreditation the Curriculum Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of a Biblically based values-infused age-appropriate and effectively sequenced curriculum across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead curriculum development and implementation aligned with NESA requirements and the schools Christian worldview
• Support and develop staff in curriculum planning documentation assessment and reporting practices
• Guide the implementation of Christian perspectives across curriculum areas
• Coordinate curriculum compliance and contribute to school registration and accreditation processes
• Analyse NAPLAN and HSC data to inform teaching and learning improvement
• Provide curriculum leadership and facilitate professional learning opportunities for teaching staff
