Title: CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist (Dual Modality)

Location: New York NY

Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: 4x9-Hour Shifts
Regular Shift: Wednesday Saturday 2:30 PM 12:00 AM (30-Minute Lunch)

Training Schedule (First 2 Weeks):
Tuesday Friday 8:30 AM 6:00 PM

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to perform both CT and diagnostic radiology procedures in a specialty orthopedic hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Siemens equipment experience and be comfortable working with pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients across inpatient outpatient ER and ICU settings.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations

• Operate Siemens CT and radiology equipment

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation

• Perform portable radiology examinations as needed

• Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures

• Administer IV contrast according to department protocols

• Complete CT procedures including abdomen pelvis chest head neck spine musculoskeletal CTA brain perfusion and multiplanar reconstruction studies

• Perform X-ray procedures involving extremities spine pelvis chest thorax musculoskeletal upper and lower extremities

• Document patient information and imaging studies accurately

• Ensure radiation safety and patient care standards are maintained

• Collaborate with radiologists physicians nurses and healthcare teams

• Rotate through multiple imaging departments as required

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License

• ARRT (R) Certification

• ARRT (CT) Certification

• IV Certification

• Current BLS Certification

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience

• Siemens equipment experience required

• Ability to perform both CT and X-Ray procedures

• Ability to lift push pull or move patients and equipment exceeding 150 pounds with or without assistive devices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Epic EMR experience

• Previous orthopedic imaging experience

• Experience in inpatient outpatient ER and ICU settings

• Travel experience welcomed but not required
