Job Summary
Looking for a CT Technologist to work day shift and some weekend days for a critical access hospital. Must be able to work independently and share call responsibilities. Call will be one weekend a month and one week night per week. Shit is a 10 hour day 7:00-5:30 four days per week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scan equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for CT examinations.
- Review physician orders and patient history prior to procedures.
- Administer contrast media as directed and monitor patients for reactions.
- Ensure high-quality imaging while following radiation safety standards.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide patient care support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions when necessary.
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare staff regarding imaging results and patient care.
