SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES (not limited to):Technical factors: Automatic exposure control is used appropriately. Technical factors (kvp ma time and distance) are accurately utilized. Appropriate cassette is used (regular grid etc.) collimation and tomographic factors are employed and assistance is given to the attending physician during techniques: Appropriate body parts are imaged and identified views are acquired and immobilization is employed Radiologist protocols are followed. Practices good sterile techniques. Performs Computed Tomography Exams with and without power contrast is done appropriately with the : Angle mechanism is used appropriately Table height is appropriate Positioning is appropriate for handling: Transports transfers and positions patients in a manner that is safe for the patient. Confirms that patient and exam preparations are appropriate. Evaluates patient s mental and physical condition in order to avoid hazardous situations and does not leave alone if their safety is patient and image documentation in the HIS/RIS and PACS SBAR as required and uses patient necessary paperwork and contrast media when in starting IV be assigned on-call standby shifts as needed by the confidential information according to HIPAA Equipment Setup:Ability to adjust technical to adjust physical is appropriate for as mentor to students from affiliated Radiology Technology professional growth and development through seminars workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of no injuries to self or others by following safe work practices and policies. This includes but is not limited to: security and safety understanding of MSDS equipment infection control fire disaster safe lifting and bodyEnsures self-compliance with organization policies and procedures as well as labor the interface with team members and other support groups is conducted in a courteous and efficient manner conducive with the organization s self in a professional manner and ensures personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job function while representing the that additional accountabilities as may be required by management be handled in a manner necessary to meet organizational QUALIFICATIONS (not limited to):Washington State Radiologic Technologist American Registry of Radiologic Technologists RT(R) (CT) Samaritan appropriate CT modality of two (2) years experience in hospital setting Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of REQUIREMENTS:Physical requirementsOccasional heavy lifting (lift/carry up to 50 lbs.).Frequent/prolonged standing/ positions pushes and/or transfers pulls or moves heavy dexterity and reaching stooping bending to communicate using verbal and/or written skills for accurate exchange of information with physicians nurses health care professionals patients and/or family and the :Demonstrates competency on equipment listed on department specific thinking skills: Seeks resources for direction when necessary.
