Job Summary

Job Title: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Travel

Location: Gastonia NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evenings 12 Hour Shifts

Schedule Details
  • Shift Timing: 3:00 PM 3:30 AM
  • Schedule: Friday Sunday (3x12s)
  • Floating required between nearby facilities (Gastonia/Belmont)
Job Summary

A skilled CT Technologist is needed for a travel assignment to perform advanced imaging procedures. This role involves producing high-quality cross-sectional images supporting diagnostic and radiologic services and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will have strong CT experience proficiency in IV contrast administration and the ability to deliver excellent patient care in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and related imaging procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques
  • Administer IV contrast and ensure patient safety during procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment including Siemens Force and GE/HD 750 scanners
  • Assist with general radiologic procedures as needed
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and image acquisition
  • Follow radiation safety protocols and quality standards
  • Provide excellent patient interaction using AIDET customer service principles
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
Required Qualifications
  • Active ARRT Certification with CT Credential R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT)
  • Prior CT Technologist experience
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging procedures
  • Ability to perform IV contrast administration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with advanced imaging techniques
  • Familiarity with Siemens and GE imaging equipment
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
