CT Technologist
Location: Carbondale Illinois
Pay Rate: $66/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Friday Saturday and Sunday weekend shifts; variable shift timing
Total Working Hours per week: 36 hours
Experience: Minimum 1 year
On-Call: Rotating call averaging 1 week every 4 weeks
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a weekend diagnostic imaging assignment in Carbondale Illinois. This role is ideal for a skilled imaging professional with CT experience strong patient care abilities and familiarity with hospital-based imaging workflows.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to department protocols
Prepare and position patients safely and accurately for scans
Operate Siemens CT scanners and maintain imaging quality standards
Work with EPIC and Merge PACS for documentation and image management
Support weekend coverage needs and participate in rotating call as required
Follow safety radiation protection and infection control procedures
Requirements
Active Illinois license required
ARRT(CT) certification required
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
EPIC and Merge PACS experience preferred
Siemens scanner experience preferred
Must be comfortable with weekend shifts and rotating on-call coverage
Ability to wear scrubs and follow department dress code
