Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled multi-modality CT Technologist for an acute care hospital setting in Carmel Indiana. This role requires experience in both CT and General X-Ray as technologists may cover X-Ray responsibilities during on-call nights and weekends.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and performing imaging across inpatient outpatient emergency and pediatric populations.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Must be able to perform General X-Ray procedures
- Comfortable working independently when needed
Required Certifications & Licensure
- BLS
- ARRT
- Indiana State License required
- Pending Indiana license accepted
Equipment Experience
Experience with the following equipment preferred:
- Siemens
- Philips
- Carestream Portable Imaging Systems
Department & Facility Details
- 2 Philips IQon CT Scanners
- 2 Siemens DR X-Ray Rooms
- Carestream Portable Units
- Emergency Department Inpatient and Outpatient imaging
- Adult and Pediatric patient populations
- Stroke Level 1 Accredited Hospital
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and General X-Ray imaging procedures
- Provide imaging support for emergency inpatient and outpatient departments
- Ensure patient safety and proper positioning during procedures
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently and accurately
- Maintain accurate patient documentation within Cerner
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
