As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Every day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations including X-rays ultrasound diagnostic fluoroscopy CT/CAT scans and MRIs while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To be successful in this role you will deeply understand diagnostic imagings critical importance encompassing expertise in workflow patient positioning and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Utilizes proper equipment (gurney wheelchair Hoyer-Lift etc.) to safely transport patient.
- Performs all routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures. Performs all routine CT or IR procedures.
- Assigns all patient charges appropriately
- Assigns all patient charges appropriately.
- Records/reviews all techniques/procedures as required.
We are offering a $10000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
- At least one year of experience as a staff technologist and performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner for limited procedures
- Call is required
- Able to perform basic IR procedures and take call
- Must meet all Rad Tech I and Rad Tech II competencies.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Completion of California State Certification requirements (CRT)
- Fluoroscopy permit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Preferred
- 3 years of experience as a staff technologist
- Bachelors of Science in Radiologic Science
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTN)
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT)
