Job Summary
Ogletree Deakins has a unique opportunity in our Cross-Border Practice Group for an entrepreneurial creative and experienced employment law attorney who wants to take their practice in a new direction. We are seeking an attorney who will join us as a Senior Associate or Of Counsel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting multinational companies of all sizes with their labor and employment needs worldwide and advising clients on a full range of international employment issues that are unique to global workforces.
We offer our attorneys multiple writing publishing and speaking opportunities including the opportunity to participate in our Global Solutions task force and podcast series. This position is fully remote.

- Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be in good standing and remain licensed to practice law in the United States in which they are located. During employment attorneys must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
- Candidates must possess 8 years of U.S. labor and employment law experience.
- Cross-Border experience is required. Asia-Pacific and Middle East experience is strongly preferred.
- In-house experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical outside-the-box critical thinking creative problem solving writing and communication skills are required.
- Must be comfortable analyzing novel and complex legal issues and helping design risk-based and client-practical solutions in situations where multiple laws may apply and may be in conflict with one another.
- Must be independent and capable of managing a high volume of different projects at once task-switching and multitasking frequently and seeking supervision when needed.
- Proficiency in word processing spreadsheet workflow management and virtual communications technology platforms (e.g. Zoom Teams Slack Smartsheet Excel Word iManage) required.

In accordance with New York States Wage Transparency Law the expected salary range for this New York State position is between $275000 and $310000. In accordance with Californias amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162 the expected salary range for this California position is between $220000 and $310000. In accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities act the expected salary range for this Washington position is between $250000 and $285000. In accordance with the Wage Transparency Omnibus Amendment Act the expected salary range for this DC position is between $250000 and $285000. In accordance with Marylands Equal Pay for Equal Work-Wage Range Transparency Law the expected salary range for this Baltimore position is between $220000 and $250000. In accordance with Illinois Equal Pay Act Transparency Notice the expected salary range for this Illinois position is between 250000 and $285000. In accordance with Massachusetts Frances Perkins Workplace Equity Act the expected salary range for this Massachusetts position is between $250000 and $285000.In accordance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law the expected salary range for this Minnesota position is between $185000 and $210000.In accordance with New Jersey Senate Bill 2310 the expected salary range for this New Jersey position is between $250000 and $285000.Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience geographic location and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
