CRNA Anesthesia

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) provide advanced clinical expertise and critical thinking specializing in the care of neonatal and pediatric populations.

In collaboration with anesthesiologists CRNAs formulate and execute comprehensive anesthesia care plans that encompass induction maintenance and emergence tailored to individual pre-operative evaluations.

**Position Overview**

- Schedule: No on-call holiday or weekend shifts- Shift Length: Options for 8 or 10-hour shifts (0700-1530 or 0700-1730)

- Oversight: Direct supervision by a Pediatric Anesthesiologist

- Surgical Case Load: Average of 1-15 surgical cases per day

- Pain Management Cases: Typically none-

Trauma Designation: Level 1 Trauma Center

- Annual ER Volume: Approximately 13000 surgical cases per year

- Operating Room Staff Composition: Includes attending physician anesthesiologist CRNA and nursing personnel

- Total Operating Rooms: 11 at the main site with an additional 4 at the south location including coverage for medical imaging and interventional radiology

- Credentialing Duration: Estimated between 60-90 days

**Qualifications**

- NBCRNA Board Certification: **Mandatory**

- AANA Certification: **Mandatory**- Current BLS and PALS Certifications:

**Mandatory**- Valid Ohio Nursing License (or willingness to obtain):

**Mandatory**- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active):

**Mandatory** (no exemptions permitted)

- New graduates are welcome to apply; pediatric experience is **preferred**
