Seeking Critical Care Rapid Response and Code Registered Nurse!
Baptist Health Floyd Critical Care Rapid Response
PRN (Work as Needed) Days (7am-7pm)
Job Duties:
The Critical Care Rapid Response and Code Nurse is a highly skilled registered nurse responsible for providing immediate clinical response assessment stabilization and care coordination for inpatients experiencing acute deterioration rapid response stroke or sepsis events and cardiopulmonary emergencies. This nurse supports bedside staff providers respiratory therapy house managers and other interdisciplinary partners to promote early recognition of decline timely intervention and safe escalation to a higher level of care when indicated.
About the Unit:
The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing required.
Current Indiana or compact state RN license required.
BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
ACLS Certification required.
PALS Certification required.
NIHSS Stroke Certification required.
CCRN American Association of Critical Care Nurses Certification required (obtained within 1 year of hire).
NRP Certification required (obtained within 1 year of hire).
Minimum of one (1) year of previous critical care nursing experience required.
