Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) you will be a pivotal force in delivering exceptional critical care within a state-of-the-art 8-bed combined ICU. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to thrive in a rapidly growing community.

Each shift you will be a key member of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team utilizing your expertise as a practitioner educator consultant and researcher to promote and restore optimal patient health.

To be successful in this role you will be a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider with a strong background in intensive care critical care or emergency medicine. You will demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment a commitment to continuous learning and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

We are offering a competitive compensation package including $860.62 per shift plus RVU incentive pay a $6993 sign-on bonus $10000 relocation assistance quality incentive bonus CME funds and a 401k with match.

Job Requirements

Required:

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Two years of experience in gastroenterology highly preferred
  • Masters degree in nursing as Nurse Practitioner
    Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the Utah Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry
    required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in applicable population foci and/or subspecialty required.
  • RN License required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
  • ACLS from the American Heart Association required
  • Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P) if applicable for role with associated articulated plan

Physician Assistant:

  • Masters graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required
  • PA Certification by N.C.C.P.A. and current mid-level provider license by the state of Utah required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
  • ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required

Preferred:

  • Two or more years prior experience in Critical Care ICU or ED.
