Crisis Intervention Specialist (FT- 0.9 FTE, Day Shift)

Position Summary: The Crisis Intervention Specialist at Bozeman Health Behavioral Health provides patient-centered trauma-informed urgent and emergent behavioral health (mental health and addictions) services in adult and pediatric emergency settings across the health continuum. This position is for licensed clinical Qualifications:Master degree in Social Work or other comparable clinical Master degree programLicensed as an LCSW LCPC or LMFT in the state of MontanaAmerican Heart Association BLSPreferred: MHPP eligiblePreferred: 3-5 years of experience in Crisis Intervention Psychiatric Emergencies Safety Planning and/or Level of Care PlacementEssential Job Functions:In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements Bozeman Health policy and other registry services include but are not limited to: brief psychosocial assessment brief drug and alcohol assessment crisis intervention hold assessment inpatient diversion care coordination and communication with medical team family referents access community-based providers and transitions of care/ discharge planning. Radiation in settings where medical imaging procedures are performed. Various chemicals and medications are used in healthcare settings.
