Crime Analyst

Position Highlights

This analyst will support Greece Police Department efforts to implement the GIVE program. The position is onsite and located at the Greece Police Department headquarters.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Collect compile validate interpret and analyze data and trends using standard practices and techniques of crime and/or law enforcement intelligence analysis
• Perform statistical spatial and/or qualitative analyses as needed using standard software packages
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations of analytical results
• Address emergent public safety threats in relation to Crime Analysis Center (CAC) activities
• Communicate with law enforcement officers involving crimes in progress pattern recognition and predictive analysis
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in related field
• No experience required
• Equivalent combination of experience & education may be considered
