About the RoleThe Data Management Associate supports the Credit Research department by maintaining high-quality data that underpins research reporting and firmwide decision-making. This role helps ensure ratings and inventory information is accurate consistent and timely by performing data entry validation and ongoing monitoring across multiple research teams. The position partners closely with analysts directors Compliance and Technology to resolve discrepancies improve processes and deliver reliable reports and ad hoc analysis. Success requires strong attention to detail clear communication and the ability to prioritize competing requests in a deadline-driven the TeamThe Loomis Sayles credit research team prides itself in providing independent views and forward-looking assessments of credit risk and potential investment opportunities. The team thinks beyond rating agencies when performing research and values unique ideas and perspectives. Research coverage spans the broad credit spectrum across investment grade high yield and bank loans in developed and emerging markets. Credit recommendations combine rigorous bottom-up fundamental analysis structural risk assessment and relative value-based insights. Credit research analysts are integrated into sector teams that offer market and research insight through the collaboration of portfolio managers strategists analysts and traders. Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing ratings data of several research teamsMonitor and make recommendations of changes to analysts inventoryPrepare and publish various reports to the firmLiaise with compliance and technology teams within Loomis Sayles as necessaryProvide ad hoc reports for the managers of Credit ResearchBack-up to other data management staff and research assistantsQualifications & Education RequirementsInterest in a detail-oriented positionStrong academic credentials including an undergraduate degreeFixed Income experience is a plusProfessional presence and the ability to generate respect across the organizationProficient with Excel Word and PowerPointFamiliarity with sourcing/manipulating information pulled from internal databases reports and applications Exceptional communication skills both verbal and writtenThe ability to be a self-starter capable of monitoring and meeting deadlines while also ensuring accuracyA positive approach a flexible attitude and a sense of humorAdditional RequirementsThe position follows a hybrid schedule with two days work from home and three days work from Sayles is committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The salary range for this position is $70000 - $100000 USD. Your starting salary will be based on your experience skills qualifications and local benchmarking. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award which is based on individual and company addition to your compensation you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health well-being and financial security.
