Looking for a qualified Credit Officer for a thriving and growing company within Fort Myers Florida.

The Credit Officer is expected to be able to build and maintain good business relations with Richelieus clients The Credit Officer plays the role of the companys ambassador among its clients and this is a crucial role to ensure the longevity of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients to recover payment arrears or to ascertain the credit situation of a client for the industrial division

• Release modify or cancel orders daily for each client

• Regularly exchange information with the sales department and customer service

• Follow up on recovering arrears with clients

• Perform credit analysis for new account applications and also for the revision of existing accounts

• Approve the clients credit without exceeding the maximum limit established in Richelieus policy

• Identify and resolve payment problems discovered

• Perform all other tasks related to the position or assigned by the immediate supervisor

Requirements:

• College diploma in administration finance or accounting

• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit/accounts receivable in a similar position

• Good communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to obtain a commitment from our clients and lower the risk of non-payment

• Capacity to work under pressure and have the terms of credit and deadlines respected

• Ability to work with a large number of clients

• Honest meticulous persevering disciplined and thorough with good organizational skills and the capacity for teamwork

• Knowledge of JD Edwards (on AS/400) considered an asset

• Bilingual (French and English) oral and written an asset

Salary ranges between $18 - $25 per hour depending on experience. Schedule is M-F 8-5.
