The Equipment Finance Credit Analyst 4 is responsible for daytoday commercial credit underwriting activities including reviewing credit applications analyzing credit reports and financial information and preparing credit recommendations to support lending decisions. The role supports a diverse range of business lines and collateral types including office equipment healthcare equipment and commercial auto financing.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Underwriting
- Review and analyze commercial credit applications and credit reports
- Perform indepth credit analysis and prepare written credit summaries and recommendations for credit approvers
- Underwrite applicationonly transactions with exposure limits up to $1000000
Research & Analysis
- Research businesses seeking credit and evaluate creditworthiness
- Analyze credit reports limited financial information and thirdparty data
- Utilize tools such as Dun & Bradstreet and PayNet to support underwriting decisions
Internal Collaboration
- Correspond regularly with internal sales teams regarding credit applications and decisions
- Provide clear welldocumented credit rationale to support decisionmaking
- Interact occasionally with thirdparty vendors; role is not customerfacing
Reporting & Tools
- Use Excel to complete underwriting writeups using established templates
- Maintain accurate and consistent credit documentation
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Typically four or more years of relevant experience
Preferred skills/experience:
- Strong credit analysis and analytical skills
- Thorough knowledge of credit analysis credit administration credit policy and procedures and risk analysis
- Background in economics accounting and/or finance
- Effective technical report writing skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week in Marshall MN.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location which is listed first. Pay Range: $70890.00 - $83400.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
