Compensation
  • Local Candidates: $23 $26/hour
  • Traveler Candidates: $27 $30/hour
Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to support provider credentialing operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining all aspects of provider credentialing recredentialing privileging and compliance processes for medical staff and allied health professionals.

This is a fully onsite position requiring strong organizational skills accuracy and knowledge of credentialing standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all aspects of provider credentialing including initial appointments reappointments credential audits and clinical privileging.
  • Process credentialing applications for Medical Staff Allied Health Professionals and other healthcare providers in accordance with organizational policies and bylaws.
  • Utilize MDStaff credentialing software to perform and monitor credentialing and background verification processes.
  • Maintain accurate provider records and ensure data integrity within credentialing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with accrediting agencies regulatory requirements and credentialing standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of credentialing laws regulations and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to obtain and verify required documentation.
  • Assist with audits reporting and ongoing compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive provider information professionally.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Previous credentialing experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Experience using MDStaff credentialing software preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of credentialing standards compliance requirements and provider verification processes.
  • Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced onsite environment.
