Courier Driver

Position Summary

Transports supplies including blood cash specimens and pharmaceuticals between the hospital and contracted doctor offices. Responsible for loading and unloading the supplies.

Responsibilities

Ensures timely accurate and safe delivery

Maintains transportation vehicle

Performs other related duties as assigned

Familiar with standard concepts practices and procedures within the field

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications

High school education or equivalent preferred

Valid drivers license with no restrictions

3 years driving experience required

Safe driving record

Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding the governing of motor vehicles in the State of Idaho

Working Conditions

Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs

Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position

Typical equipment used in a clinical job

Must be able to stoop crouch or bend

Must be able to push pull or transport heavy equipment
