Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following position for the 2026-2027 school year:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sort and load packages boxes and tubs in order of destination and route.
- The Courier receives and distributes a wide variety of goods supplies inter-district correspondence and mail to and from buildings throughout the district as well as driving to and from the Boys and Girls Club Josephine County Library and/or other destinations as required.
- Responsible for seeing that the vehicle driven is properly maintained and conduct regularly scheduled operational checks for safety.
- Provides each building location with a schedule of pickup and delivery times.
- Possess a current Oregon Operators License by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Excellent driving record.
- Frequent lifting standing bending walking and getting in and out of vehicle.
- Lifting or carrying objects between 20-50 pounds on occasion.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
- Upon selection employees will be required to pay for the following: $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $75 ODE fingerprinting processing fee.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- $16.77-$24.22 per hour. Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.
- Annual COLA pay increase (as negotiated with Oregon Association of Classified Employees).
- Annual step pay increase awarded to eligible employees.
- 6 paid holidays per year.
- 2 personal days per year.
- 10 paid sick leave days per year.
- Bereavement leave as per bargaining agreement.
- Continuing Education Funds up to $1200 per year.
- 6% employee paid contribution towards Oregon Public Employees Retirement System.
- Longevity Service Stipend after 10 years of employment ($1000-$1600).
