Pay: $25.24/hour; additional $2000 annually for bilingual fluency in eligible languages

Are you passionate about mentoring youth and helping them build real-life skills for success YOU Inc. is seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Mentor (Counselor II) to provide one-on-one community-based support to youth enrolled in the Childrens Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) program.

In this role youll work directly with young people to strengthen social skills emotional regulation and daily living abilities helping them succeed at home in school and in their communities.

• Provide one-on-one support to youth in home and community settings.
• Help youth build skills in communication emotional regulation and daily living.
• Serve as a positive role model fostering trust and engagement.

• Support youth in real-world settings such as parks libraries and recreational activities.
• Reinforce treatment goals through hands-on practical experiences.
• Develop and implement structured age-appropriate lesson plans with measurable outcomes.

• Work closely with a masters level clinician to align mentoring with treatment goals.
• Participate in weekly consultations and provide progress updates.
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to support consistency and success.

• Complete timely and accurate progress notes and service documentation.
• Participate in trainings supervision and team meetings.
• Maintain compliance with CBHI and agency standards.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Creativity in teaching and reinforcing life skills in real-world settings
• Organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation

• Must be at least 21 years old
• One of the following:
  • Bachelors degree in a human services field 1 year experience OR
  • Associates degree 2 years experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED 2 years experience working with youth
• Valid drivers license reliable vehicle and proof of insurance required
