Minimum Qualifications
The transcripts you are attaching to provide evidence that you meet the minimum qualifications below must state the degree title major and date awarded. (1) Masters degree in counseling career development educational counseling guidance counseling counseling psychology rehabilitation counseling clinical psychology social work marriage and family therapy or marriage family and child counseling; (2) OR a Masters degree in Education Concentration: Counseling; Education: Counseling Option; Education: Counseling and Guidance Concentration; Education: Educational and Clinical Counseling; Education: Educational Counseling; Education: School Counseling; Social Welfare; Guidance and Counseling; or Marriage & Family Counseling (approved comparable degree majors at MiraCosta College); (3) OR a Bachelors degree in any of the majors listed in (1) above AND a Marriage and Family Therapist ( MFT ) license valid in California; (4) OR a valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area. (5) OR the equivalent*.
