AsCottage Coordinator you have an enormous impact on the daily lives ofindependent living residents. You will work with your residents to design acalendar of meaningful social events and outings. You will assist with daily meal service andcollaborate with the dining department on special events for Cottage residentsguests and families. You will serve as aresource to our Cottage residents by connecting them with services in thecommunity and helping arrange or provide transportation when needed. Youwill also serve as an ambassador of our Cottage community by touringprospective residents and their families.
Essential Functions: Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to performthe essential functions.
- Develop services needed for IL residents in coordination with the Administrator Operations Director and Elder Care Advisor.
- Coordinate and Host Activities for our IndependentLiving residents with input on activities from the current IL Seniors.
- Develop distribute and execute activities on themonthly Activity calendar
- Recruit and schedule Volunteers
- Arrange transportation as needed for the ILresidents
- Manage Services Provided at the Club houseincluding meal service & Serve lunch at the Club house to IL seniors Monday Friday
- Assure Housekeeping services are performed andmeets Community expectations for the Cottages and the clubhouse
- Monitor services provided at the Club houseCottages and Patio Homes
- Manage reservations of and activities in the Clubhouse by maintaining a Community calendar for events
- Provide feedback to the Administrator on servicesprovided to the independent living residents including meals housekeepingservices and transportation provided by self and other staff
- Develop neighborhood committee to solicit feedbackfrom IL seniors
- Make seniors feel welcome when moving into IL unitshelp coordinate new move ins and provide welcome gift to new residents andintroduce to other IL neighbors.
- Be a resource for the seniors in our IndependentLiving Cottages by researching services available in the area assisting withneeded services ie. dry cleaning pick-up fitness centers financial servicesvolunteer opportunity transportation etc. Acting as a Community concierge
