We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist you will provide skilled therapy services designed to help residents improve function increase independence and enhance their quality of life.

• Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Follow physician orders and individualized treatment plans
• Document daily treatments weekly progress notes and resident outcomes accurately and timely
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the Occupational Therapist
• Assist nursing staff with training and implementation of restorative programs
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning rehabilitation meetings and discharge planning activities
• Educate residents families and caregivers on maintenance programs and discharge recommendations
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas
• Report equipment concerns and assist in maintaining a safe therapy environment
• Participate in staff education and in-service training programs
• Ensure compliance with facility policies state regulations and payer requirements
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents families staff and healthcare providers

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Experience in skilled nursing rehabilitation or long-term care preferred
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong communication documentation and organizational skills

• Current South Carolina Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
• Must maintain all required continuing education requirements
• Must remain in good standing with the applicable State Board
