We are currently seeking an analytical and detail-oriented professional for the following role:
Position:Costing Engineer
Location: Fort Wayne IN
This Costing Engineer will support the Costing Department by performing the following duties:
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new part cost calculations existing part cost calculations and cost breakdowns as needed.
- Create and utilize Excel spreadsheets to perform complex calculations track data and publish reports.
- Estimate the cost to produce a part for a new manufacturing process.
- Create Bill of Materials and routings in ERP system.
- Investigate and correct ERP costing errors.
- Work with the Industrial Engineer Department to estimate tooling costs.
- Work with the Industrial Engineering Department at VOSS Automotive Mexico to keep the cycle time and setup time tables/files up-to-date for existing and new part processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 2 years experience
- Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes
