This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills excellent Excel knowledge and experience interpreting technical specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations.

A well-established manufacturing business in the shopfitting industry is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Estimator to join its team in Worcester. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills excellent Excel knowledge and experience interpreting technical specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations from client specifications.
- Interpret drawings and project documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing.
- Maintain supplier price lists.
- Analyse planned vs actual project costs.
- Develop sound knowledge of shopfitting materials and manufacturing processes.
- Manage project costing documentation accurately.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 35 years relevant estimating experience.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and shopfitting materials.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Commercial awareness with exceptional attention to detail.
