About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accounting Clerk to support product costing inventory management production reporting and pricing activities. This role works closely with Accounting Purchasing Operations and R&D to ensure accurate costing and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Maintain material conversion records and coordinate related purchase orders.
• Verify work orders and production costs.
• Prepare daily production efficiency reports.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Update customer pricing and costing information.
• Support product costing and process improvement initiatives.
• Follow GMP and Food Safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting Business Manufacturing Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting costing manufacturing inventory control or data analysis.
• Strong Excel analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP accounting or inventory systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly sit and use hands for typing and handling materials.
• Occasionally stand climb walk reach or lift up to 10 lbs.
• Close distance color and peripheral vision required.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise level.
• Manufacturing/office environment.
