Position Announcement: COSI Achieve Direct Service Provider
Northeastern Junior College in Sterling Colorado invites qualified persons to apply for the position of COSI Achieve Direct Service Provider. The candidate will provide holistic support services designed to support all aspects of the students post-secondary journey. This position aims to address and overcome barriers to enrollment ensure progress and retention and guide COSI Achieve scholars to the successful completion of their chosen degree or credential.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
The COSI Achieve Direct Service provider will provide activities that support students in continued persistence and degree/certificate completion. This position will assist with accessing and understanding the full range of financial programs including FAFSA and locating resources for public and private scholarships. The COSI Achieve Direct Service Provider will provide opportunities for community building and connecting with NJC success services as well as coordinate one-on-one meetings with students to provide support in navigating institutional barriers academic hurdles and personal concerns. This person will host events for COSI Achieve Scholars to support college navigation including workshops as well as providing case management supports. The COSI Achieve Direct Service Provider will assist in managing the COSI Achieve grant budget and maintain records for completion of yearly reporting including creating the Statement of Work to determine targeted interventions or supports for the COSI Achieve program each academic year. This position works closely with the NJC Student Success Center Staff and will partner with other departments to support COSI Achieve Scholars.

- Proficiency in working in one-on-one situations
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
What We Require:
- Associates degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience with tracking outcomes and/or writing reports
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Experience teaching training or tutoring high school and/or college students
- Proficient use of computers and applications including PowerPoint and Excel
- Valid Colorado Drivers License
What We Can Offer:
This is a full-time professional appointment with an annual salary range of $42000-$44075 commensurate with education and experience.
